COST OF THE FACILITIES RENTAL COST IS $325.00 PER DAY, UNLESS OTHERWISE AGREED UPON BETWEEN BOTH PARTIES. REFUNDABLE CLEANING AND KEY DEPOSIT: $100.00. THESE FUNDS WILL BE RETURNED AFTER THE BUILDING AND GROUNDS HAVE BEEN INSPECTED BY A POST REPRESENTATIVE.
TOTAL PAYMENT DUE AT TIME OF RENTAL: $425.00.
RULES FOR RENTAL AGREEMENT
- THE FACILITY TO BE RENTED IS LOCATED AT 350 LEGION HUT ROAD, CARTHAGE, NC 28327.
- THE FOLLOWING ARE EXPLICIT TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE RENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN: POST REPRESENTATIVE_______________________________AND RENTER________________________________
- THE RENTER IS RESPONSIBLE TO SECURE THE BUILDING WHEN NOT IN USE AND ENSURE ALL LIGHTS HAVE BEEN TURNED OFF PRIOR TO EXCITING THE BUILDING.
- USE OF THE RENTAL FACILITY IS LIMITED TO 65 INDIVIDUALS INSIDE THE BUILDING PER THE CARTHAGE FIRE DEPARTMENT FIRE CODE.
- ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES. UPON COMPLETION OF THE EVENT, ALL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE TRASH WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE BUILDING.
- NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING.
5. THE PODIUM, OFFICE CABINET, AND SMALL TABLE BY THE DOOR SHALL NOT BE REMOVED BUT LEFT IN PLACE.
6.TABLES AND CHAIRS ARE ALLOWED TO BE REARRANGED BY THE RENTER. UPON COMPLETION OF THE EVENT, ALL TABLES AND CHAIRS WILL BE PLACED IN THEIR ORIGINAL POSITIONS.
7. WIFI IS AVAILABLE AND WALL-MOUNTED FLAT SCREEN TV MAY BE USED BY THE RENTER. INSTRUCTIONS FOR TURNING ON WIFI AND OPERATING FLAT SCREEN TV WILL BE PROVIDED BY A POST 12 REPRESENTATIVE.
8. ALL DECORATIONS AND ELECTRONICS TO BE PROVIDED AND UTILIZED BY THE RENTER WILL BE COORDINATED WITH AND SPECIFICALLY APPROVED BY THE LEGION POST REPRESENTATIVE PRIOR TO INSTALLATION AND USE.
9. AMERICAN LEGION POST 12 FACILITIES WILL BE RETURNED BY RENTER IN A CLEAN AND SERVICEABLE CONDITION.
10. THE RENTER’S CLEANING DEPOSIT IN THE AMOUNT OF $100.00 WILL BE USED TOWARD REPAIRS AND ANY DAMAGE TO THE BUILDING. THE RENTER WILL MAKE GOOD ON ANY LOSSES DUE TO NEGLIGENT, VANDALISM, OR THEFT OF PROPERTY AND FOR ANY CLEAN-UP REQUIRED TO RETURN THE FACILITY TO IT'S PRE-EVENT CONDITION.
11. THIS FACILITY IS IN A RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD AND NO LOUD NOISE IS PERMITTED AFTER 9:00 P.M. ANY COMPLAINT TO LAW ENFORCEMENT REGARDING THE RENTER WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE TERMINATION OF THE RENTER’S EVENT AND THE BUILDING WILL BE LOCKED PENDING FURTHER ACTION BY THE CARTHAGE AND/OR MOORE COUNTY LAW ENFOREMENT. THERE WILL BE NO REFUND IF THIS SHOULD HAPPEN.
12. BOTH PARTIES ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THIS AGREEMENT REPRESENTS THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RENTAL AND CONDUCT OF RENTERS ACTIVITIES AND LEGION POST 12 RESPONSIBILITIES AND NEITHER PARTY MAY ALTER THIS AGREEMENT EXCEPT BY MUTUAL AND WRITTEN AGREEMENT.
